Q: Do you have a trial membership? I'm not sure if its for me...
A: New people can try out the classes, but the best thing to do is to go through the elements classes. You cannot truly appreciate our program until after you do the 4 sessions..
Q: Does everyone need to take the Elements class?
A: Yes. If you have an extensive background in Olympic lifting or are a seasoned CrossFitter then we can talk about cutting back on the elements.
The "elements" is a wonderful program and we make it so affordable so people wont be afraid to see how amazing our program really is.
Q: Do your memberships have a time commitment?
A: No
Q: Do you have auto pay and can I pay cash/check?
A: We do have auto pay which is done through the pricing page on the website (paypal). You can pay with cash or check, but it is more expensive.
Q: Can someone else use my membership?
A: You are the only person that can use your membership.
Q: What happens if I want one or two other people to workout with to split the cost of the personal training sessions and what if one or two people drop out of workouts with me?
A: Your personal training sessions are your sessions so you can bring whomever you want. Give the trainer a heads up so he'll be prepared though. The sessions will be paid for so it's up to you to find someone to split cost with if that's the route you want to go.
Q: With the membership do I need to still book appointments?
A: No, membership classes are open, you just show up to the classes ready to go.
Q: What happens if I do not show up for a booked baseball/softball session and a fitness session back to back?
A: The booked sessions count as if you had the sessions because I still pay the instructor. That means you are out 2 sessions. Be respectful and let us know if you cannot make it so maybe we can fill the slot and save you your sessions.
Q: How long are your sessions?
A: 1 hour
Q: Can I schedule online?
A: Yes; simply click on the "book a session" link and pick a session. That is actually the only way we schedule sessions.
Q: How do I see when my sessions are?
A: Go to www.instant-scheduling.com and enter your email and password. I have a link on the main page (your account) that will show you when your scheduled in the future.
Q: How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
A: Go to www.instant-scheduling.com and click on the specific session and in the upper right hand corner you will see a link for canceling or rescheduling. You can also simply click on "your account" on the main page to go to that site as well.
Q: How do I pay?
A: You can pay right online! Click on the pricing link. If you do not want to do that then you can always pay via cash or check. If you want to spread out your payments let me know and we can make it work for you.
Q: Can I pay as I go?
A: No, you must either pay for a month or pay for a package of sessions.
Q: Can I have multiple kids per session?
A: No and Yes; we do 1-on-1 baseball/softball sessions. We can do side by side sessions, but that is still 1-on-1 because there would be 2 instructors. The fitness portion can have multiple people per trainer.
Q: Do you rent out your facility?
A: Generally no, but never say never.
Q: Can I schedule same day?
A: Only if you call (614) 893 9014. I am a teacher so I do not make any promises that I will be able to set up a session that day, but I will do my best.
Q: Do you schedule over the phone?
A: Same day yes, but generally not before that unless someone does not have access to a computer or they are trying to get side by side sessions.
Q: Do you do off site sessions?
A: We do, but fields must be reserved by you and a little schedule work will need to be done.
Q: Do you run practices?
A: We do come out and run practices.
Q: If I'm on a travel team do I get a discount?
A: Only if your coach has specifically come to me and set up a team rate (which means the entire team).
Q: What ages do you work with?
A: All; young to old. All levels as well.
Q: Does a elementary kid really need fitness training?
A: This is the most important time!
Q: Do you do softball pitching?
A: I have a trainer who specifically does pitching for softball.
Q: Who does your hitting for softball?
A: The same people who do our baseball hitting do our softball hitting. The swings are so very similar that it is very easy for our hitting instructors to work with the softball swing.
We do have a slap instructor as well.
Q: Do you have to select a pitching or hitting or defense lesson?
A: We can do anything and everything so we could actually do all 3 in the hour.
Our sessions are only listed as baseball/softball or softball pitching, if there is something specific you want to work on, then just let us know when you get there.
If you want a catching specific lesson let us know before hand so we can get you scheduled with one of our catching instructors.
Q: Can I have a half baseball and half fitness session?
A: You can, but I would suggest doing 1 hour of baseball/softball and then 1 hour of fitness so you do not sell yourself short on either one.
Q: Do you do catching specific sessions?
A: Yes; Bryan Youngblood is our main catching instructor.
Q: What are your hours?
A: We are by appointment so it depends, but we generally have openings all day and into the night 7 days a week.
